i've got a little space heater next to my bed, so i don't move around much once i'm in my room... those kerosene heaters also work pretty well, but i'm not sure how much they cost.

I swear by a receptionist gig. Really all you need to do is answer the phone and use the computer (you've already done the telethon thing and you're computer savy=). Being a receptionist at the counseling and testing center was the best on campus job ever. Plus the boss needed to use up all his funding so it payed 7.5/hr; and I got a raise to $8/hr at the end of the year.
