party pending

"what do you want for your birthday?"

a good time.

and ain't that the fucking truth! sure, there are plenty of things that i desire, but they're just things. (hey! my mom bought me that bathing suit, so that's one less thing that i want.) i'd really just like to have a fucking blast with my pals though.

so, there are plans in the works for a two-day event in sandusky, ohio. june 12 and 13. there will be a cost of attendance (approximately $67) but i'm trying to secure the accommodations with out financial contributions from anyone else. other costs may be incurred with the purchase of party favors, the details of which will be worked out later.

plans will probably fall through this year, just like they did last year and the year before that. but at least i'm trying to make plans! you can't hate on that.

i'm thinking this may be my last big party (for a while at least). so i'd really like to go out with a bang.

we'll see though.

typology test

took this test.

i came out intj. same as i did all those years ago when i took a similar test on

probably the best description of me (though i'm too tired to put much thought into the others).

i definitely come off as confident to most people, and stuck up (or arrogant) to stupid people (though i'm not actually either one).

everything in that third paragraph is dead on.

"many also find it useful to learn to simulate some degree of surface conformism in order to mask their inherent unconventionality." so true. i hate that i have to do that in order to function at all in this world.

"INTJs really want people to make sense... the INTJ will expect inexhaustible reasonability and directness." yep. too fucking bad people don't make sense and they rarely tell the truth.

this description also had some good points.

"Masterminds are not at all eager to take command of projects or groups, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead. Once in charge, however, Masterminds are the supreme pragmatists, seeing reality as a crucible for refining their strategies for goal-directed action." big check.

i doesn't change anything really, but i do enjoy understanding why i do what i do. and it helps me plan for my reactions in the future (which i apparently like to do).

so what are you? what do you think of your results?
